Voltiris launches first project in France

Hosted at CATE and backed by major cooperatives, the project aimsto validate Voltiris in Brittany’s high-tech greenhouse region
Voltiris’ first pilot project in France has been featured in Ouest-France — a major milestone for our technology and its development in one of Europe’s most advanced greenhouse regions. The installation is hosted at CATE (Comité d'Action Technique et Économique), Brittany’s leading horticultural experimentation center. This location is highly strategic, as the region concentrates more than 600 hectares of high-tech greenhouse production, making it an essential proving ground for innovative energy solutions.
The project is supported by several of France’s most prominent producer cooperatives, including Prince de Bretagne – Cerafel, Solarenn, YDEAL – Le Potager de Jade, Les Maraîchers d’Armor, Savéol, and SICA. Their involvement reflects a strong collective interest in accelerating the transition toward sustainable, renewable energy within greenhouse agriculture.
This pilot aims to validate the performance and integration of Voltiris technology in Brittany’s greenhouse conditions — ensuring full crop production while generating meaningful renewable electricity. It represents an important step in demonstrating how our system can support one of France’s most dynamic horticultural regions.
A heartfelt thank-you to all our partners for their trust and collaboration. Together, we’re paving the way for a new era of solar energy in horticulture.
