Voltiris Wins Innovation Award at expoSE & expoDirekt 2025

We are proud to announce that Voltiris has been awarded the Innovation Award at expoSE & expoDirekt 2025, one of Europe’s leading exhibitions for strawberry and asparagus production.

From 38 submissions, an independent jury selected our solar filtering modules as one of six standout innovations, recognizing their impact on sustainable, productive greenhouse cultivation.

The award highlights a challenge many growers face today: rising heat stress in greenhouses, which leads to smaller fruit and reduced margins. Voltiris addresses this by transmitting full PAR light for crop growth while filtering heat-causing NIR radiation and converting it into renewable electricity. This dual functionality helps keep plants cooler, improves fruit size and quality, and reduces energy costs.

We extend our thanks to VSSE for supporting innovation in horticulture and providing a platform to connect with growers and industry partners. Their recognition reinforces the value of solutions that strengthen both crop performance and energy resilience.
